The Senior Living Ministries Story
Founded in 2002 by Gary and Ricki Keckley of GoodWorks Unlimited, LLC, Senior Living Ministries, Inc. (SLM) is a Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the needs of caregivers of senior adults.
The Keckley’s started Senior Living Ministries because “we saw all of the good our communities provide—not just to our residents, but to all of the families and staff involved—and we wanted to provide more opportunities for others to join our mission and ‘do good for those who do good.'”
Through charitable contributions to our Cares and Thanks programs, you can help support every single person connected to our communities, be it in the form of:
- Financial aid for residents and their families
- Additional education and training for caregivers
- Recognizing and rewarding community members and staff for their service

Purpose: To assist residents and staff of GoodWorks Senior Communities through various programs that promote well-being and security.

We believe in being fully transparent with our donors. That’s why we ensure every dollar you give is used effectively and efficiently to support those who need it most.
100% of our spending is directed toward helping the staff at our GoodWorks Senior Communities. Depending on the program, examples of how we disperse and maximize donations made to SLM.

GoodWorks Unlimited, LLC. has been deeply involved in the planning, development, design, construction, management, and operation of over 20 senior living communities in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Each community uniquely reflects the blend of its residents’ personalities, local and broader cultural influences, as well as the strengths and challenges of the facilities, properties, and staff.

Integral to our mission is the Through Their Eyes memory care program, aiming to respect and honor the personal dignity of our residents. Through Their Eyes leverages years of research and best practices to provide the highest level of care, enabling our residents to live their best lives for as long as possible.
